I need to sort things or do tasks that occupy my “busy” mind and are not related to the creative side. Then it seems to flow. Desks and I only get along %50 of the time – max.
Graham. You should just tape a microphone to the side of your head and record everything that comes out of your brilliant mouth. I believe it would sound like this…”Awesome…Retarded…Lion-O…Doom!…Dagobad…etc).
Seriously, I think it’s interesting that higher productivity happens away from traditional work spaces. I’ve always found that to be true, and I’m waiting for the ideal app to help me capture ideas in those moments.

14 April , 2010Agree. At my desk, inspiration is super low as well.
I think most clearly after work during my 30 minute commute home.
Also effective is going for long walks without having to write down any notes.

14 April , 2010Does restroom include the shower? Or is it just the toliet? If it were me, I would have to split that row into two

14 April , 2010I include everything restroom-related (showers, urinals, toilets, sinks, baths) as part of the restroom category.
