TotalFinder

TotalFinder brings tabbed navigation to the Mac Finder. As if that weren’t enough, it also provides a split panel view, so you can move files from one side of a Finder window to the other with ease.

It’s in beta now, so you can download it for free, but the developer says the paid version will be released soon. If you use a Mac, TotalFinder is a must-have, and should probably be integrated into the Mac OS by Apple at some point.

    I have to add this update: tonight I received a free license key to TotalFinder. The developer had a lottery for everyone who ever submitted a bug report, and I was one of the winners.

    Please, everyone on a Mac: give this product a shot. You’ll love it.
