The newly-designed Atlantic.
The Atlantic is my favorite magazine (one might call it an addiction), and Michael Bierut is one of my favorite designers. So you can imagine how happy I was to learn that Mr. Bierut and Pentagram would be leading the magazine’s redesign.
Well, yesterday the November edition arrived in my mailbox, and true to form, the magazine is a knockout. It sports a lovely balance between fresh and retro, and is a pleasure to read.
Kudos to Mr. Bierut and The Atlantic for taking this bold step forward.
